The University of New Brunswick (UNB) was established in 1785 making it one of Canada's oldest English speaking universities. UNB has two campuses: one in Fredericton, New Brunswick's capital city, and one in Saint John, the province's largest city. UNB is home to approximately 12,000 students from over 80 countries.


With 60 UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES, UNB is best known for Science and Business with strengths in the main disciplines of Engineering. As a comprehensive university, UNB offers a wide variety of options such as Leadership, Marine Biology, Hospitality & Tourism, Kinesiology, Humanities (Arts), Education and Health Sciences.

Last date of applications for the Jan 2018 intake

There is no January intake for Engineering, Education, Nursing or Kinesiology. All other faculties have a January intake and applications must be in by the end of October. If all grades are not in by then it is okay, send them along when ready. Admission can start the review based on their previous years' grades.
