Founded in 1967 as a public liberal arts institution, the University of Lethbridge has evolved into a comprehensive university with a broad range of programs. More than 500 Faculty members educate nearly 8,800 students in programs in Management, Arts and Science, Humanities, Health Sciences and Education. Students also have the opportunity to study an English for Academic Purposes program to meet the English language requirement.
uLethbridge also provides select degree completion opportunities for transfer students and diploma graduates, and programs and degrees that lead to a professional designation. As one of Canada's top primarily undergraduate universities, the university is ranked 3rd overall in the primarily undergraduate category within the Maclean's Canadian University rankings (2017). International students from over 80 countries represent approximately 7% of the University's total enrolment.
uLethbridge is also excited to announce the Dhillon School of Business, with campuses in Lethbridge and Calgary, offers an engaging and immersive education with a focus on business and finance innovation. We inspire a spirit of entrepreneurialism, creativity and social responsibility in our students, with a focus on emerging technologies and industry trends, international perspectives, and leading-edge, original research.

Scholarship for International Students

Undergraduate scholarship opportunities for international students are found on page 25 of our viewbook

  • Students must first apply for admission, then they are able to apply for scholarships through their online student account
  • International students will automatically receive $75.00 CAD in financial support per undergraduate course up to $750.00 CAD per year (10 courses). *Funding is subject to change
  • Scholarships are competitive with varying deadlines and requirements
